We waited for Eric at Arlington Cemetary then found they were on another route--should have stayed---they could have run by????--but then who would know???, because when Eric was running through DC we were stuck in a traffic jam! I am sure they got through quicker than we did. We found our way to Annapolis and waited at the finish line at city dock for the team to come in. It was so very exciting for us and worth the traffic jams there and back. Our road trip down they closed the NJ Turnpike and we sat there for hours. We detoured in PA by accident and had to roundabout...felt the need for a navigation device...but we got there and got to see the grand finish! YAHOOO!
But we can't say enough how much respect we have for the team's accomplishment and WOW! We look forward to more stories here on the BLOG and on Friday for your Celebration!
